Description

EDIT: Updated the evolution process c:
IT'S DONE O-O. Anyway, I hope this covers everything XD I know there is some stuff left out, but the gist is there lol. If you have any questions about them, please ask! :D
Q: Can Cacklecanters and humans get along?
A:Though Cacklecanters are quite beastlike, they are highly intelligent. Among their own language, they can easily learn other animal communication(bird chirps/coos/squawks, feline meows, yowls, hisses, dog barks/howls, etc..). This includes the speech of humans in all human languages. They are willing to get along with a human, some even allowing a human to ride it, if that human respects it. It will not stand being insulted or seen as inferior, however, they love being shown as a superior. Humans that bow and show respect to the Cacklecanter are most-likely to be able to befriend that Cacklecanter without getting eaten.

Q: Are Cacklecanters solitary beings?
A: Yes, and no. It basically goes in according to the evolved states of the Cacklecanters. Kommantra rarely are alone. They travel in quite large groups, of up to 15 other Cacklecanters. Vesquisa travel in smaller groups, of maybe 3 - 8. It is not uncommon to see Kommantra following some Vesquisa in a single group. Vesquisa take over the roles as the leaders. Lordem are never seen with others. They prefer a solitary life.

Q: Is there a way a Cacklecanter can evolve faster?
A: Yes, there is! Cannibalism. Cacklecanters can and will eat each other. This gives them internal energy that allows for them to grow and evolve faster. Ambitious Cacklecanters will try to go after another that is evolved in a state higher than it is(Ex. A Kommantra after a Vesquisa), though this rarely works out due to how wide of a power gap there is between each Cacklecanter status. Though cannibalism is a method, they can also be trained by their human companion/Rider, or on their own(much longer process) to evolve. This method is slower, but cannibalism is often frowned upon, particularly by other Riders and their Cacklecanters.

Q: So, what do Cacklecanters eat?
A: Cacklecanters are omnivorous. They eat each other. They hunt large game, like deer, moose, elk, and other cervids. They will even hunt large predatory animals like big cats, bears, and wolves. They can be problematic to farmers, for they love the taste of beef(cow) among other livestock, so farmers tend to try to befriend these Cacklecanters so as not to lose their farm to the belly of a Cacklecanter. Plus, Cacklecanters make great protectors. They also love berries and fruit. To give a Cacklecanter a watermelon or a banana is seen as a gift of high value, however, giving them raisins is an insult, and they may eat you instead. If on is befriended by a human, it often wants to try everything a human eats. Fast food and artificially process foods are not good for a Cacklecanter; it gives them the runs and makes them ill. They love tea and real ramen noodles(not the packaged stuff).

This species is CLOSED. You may not make your own.

I spent an insanely long amount of time on this. It would mean a billion if you didn't steal my designs, concepts, art, or this species<3
